You will be
able to exchange your pizza boxes for the last time under Dottie’s
watch. I would like to take a minute and
thank her for staying on and seeing it through to the end. It has been great fun seeing what everyone
has decided to share and what was waiting in the box each month. Dottie will follow up with an email to the
ladies doing the exchange.
Guild
Projects will have
pizza boxes for the new exchange starting in January. You can continue with your old box or get a
new one.
The Pat
Speth Mystery starts in January. Lynn will have the
information to hand out at the drive through with the fabric requirements if
you would like to get it ahead of time.
For those that would like to have the clues mailed to you, you can do
so. It will be $5.00 for the postage,
address labels and envelopes. This can
be paid at the drive through or you can mail it to Lynn Sievers. Make checks out to LSQG.
We will
have the monthly Fat Quarter raffle. Fabric this month is
Holiday. Have your pen handy to write
your name on the ticket and at the end of the drive through the winner will be
drawn. If they are still present, they
can pick them up from Lynn, if they are not, you will be contacted, the name of
the winner will be in the news letter and you can pick them up in January. You will get a ticket for each FQ you
bring.
There is
still time to sign up to do the Sun Flower Challenge. All the info is in the newsletter.
Since we
cannot have our Holiday Show and Tell, please email pictures of your
favorite holiday items you have made to Enid along with your other show and
tell quilts by December 15, 2020 and they will added to the blog towards when
the January newsletter is posted.
We are
up-dating our Long Arm Quilter list.
It will be added to the new directory and a list will be made available
at the greeting table when we have in-person meetings. If you would like your name on this list,
[members only], please email Nancy Solsberg by December 19, 2020.
Outreach
and Quilts of Valor
will be present to collect your donations, tops, finished quilts.
We will
still collect non-perishable food items for Manna.
Edwina will be at the end of the drive through line and they can be left
with her Monday.
Last, for
those that signed up to receive the little gift we put together, they
can be picked up from Edwina and Debbie.
