Reminder!!! Our Drive-Thru is this coming Monday, July 13th at 9:00 AM at
First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit

I know there is construction there and there are signs that say no through traffic, but you can drive around the sign to enter the parking lot that is behind the church off of Maple Street. There will be signs for you to follow.

Quilt Show – We discussed the Quilt Show at the Board Meeting on July 6th and your Board voted to cancel the show for 2020 because of the Covid-19 Virus. Even if we could have access to the church, we were concerned for the health of everyone involved. We anticipated attendance to be down and we were concerned we would have a hard time finding enough volunteers. Nancy Solsberg will be accepting handmade items that would have been sold at the boutique at this Drive-Thru, but it will be the last time. We are considering our options on what do with the Boutique items we have already collected and I will communicate details as soon they become available. If you donated an item for the Silent Auction and would like it back, please contact Cathy Wight to make arrangements.
Bee – The Bee scheduled for July 20th will be on Zoom instead of The Duck Pond! I will set up a “meeting” on Zoom from 9:00 – 4:00 and we can all sew at our own homes, but with each other! Details will be sent out next week. I hope you will consider giving Zoom a try. This will be a great way try out Zoom and enjoy a day spent with friends.
This has been a very difficult time for everyone and we have been working hard to keep things going with Guild even though we haven’t been able to meet like usual.
